@CRS_trials @robbethune Q1b We don’t really know how common #parastomalhernias are. Nor do we know why patients get PSH. Is it due to co-morbidity or technical factors during formation? The evidence for stoma creation is poor & how we teach stoma creation hasn’t changed in over 50 years! #CRStrialschat

Surgery to repair PSH is difficult & has limited success. Prevention of PSH was an @ACPGBI Delphi priority. @ColostomyUK @iasupport #CRStrialschat
