Ngl I left the NYCDOE during the pandemic because it was clearly heading to shit. They were being loud about their politic choices. Killing all the funding and programming that was trying to bring racial equity to the forefront.
I forgot the DOE about to be shaken up . Oh my my my.

NYCDOE's response to today's rain storm was the dumbest thing I've seen in a long time. Our Summer Rising school sent the middle school kids home on their own right as the storm came in (without umbrellas of course) and since we have two elementary kids in the same school,.

It’s been a contentious point in this race (my mother, a progressive retired NYCDOE teacher, is essentially a single-issue voter on this) but thankfully @ZohranKMamdani has come out against Medicare Advantage
