Our new 5th grade teacher, @MissNichols76 , providing her Ss with all the tools needed to investigate Volume! She used think alouds, modeled formulas, reviewed vocabulary, and used manipulatives- this lesson had it all! #RNEgreatthings

When kids can see the math, they can believe the math. Great manipulatives don’t just make things hands-on—they make thinking visible, connections concrete, and learning stick. #MathIsVisual #ManipulativesMatter #LetThemSeeIt

Visited classrooms today and saw incredible teaching in action 🙌 From 3rd grade connecting literature to math with modeling, manipulatives, and peer collaboration ➡️ to 1st grade read-alouds that gave students think time before rich partner talks. Love seeing this learning!

My class would benefit from having manipulatives to order numbers. We have manipulatives to compare, represent numbers, measure, add/ subtract etc, but not to order. It would truly help kiddos master ordering numbers which is a complex topic for them.
