If you've been writing React for a while, or using React-based frameworks like NextJS and GatsbyJS, you may have heard of hydration. But what exactly does this mean? I explain that in this video using examples ✨ Link to video below 👇🏽

blackpilled on gatsbyjs for my blog. none of the template projects just work out of the box. build errors, typescript incompatibility. even the "deploy with netlify" button on their website just takes you to a blank page. HOW is this one of the most used SSGs? alternatives?

Day 63 of #100DaysOfCode learning gatsbyjs, working towards building a gatsby blog. went through the documentation, worked on configurations and jumped right into it. btw, gatsby is a static site generator built with react for creating fast websites, it also uses graphql.

I got to spend some time with @calcsam (formerly @GatsbyJS, now @mastra_ai) who recently wrote a book on building AI agents called “Principles of Building AI Agents”. He offers a few pieces of advice for startup founders writing applications with AI agents. Chapters 0:00 —

.@NotionHQ I purchased Notion Sites and performance is much worse than https://t.co/pcZDQ2gkaT. I was really hoping Notion Sites would feel like a static site generator like NextJS or GatsbyJS. Any plans to improve performance?
