@adamscochran The main reason nobody mentioned so far is COMPSABILITY. If you create ETH/allshittyfiat then you separate liquidity. So the world trades ETH/USD and people cash out on their local CEX shittyfiat/USD. In crypto the world is suddenly at your fingertips. -> big win for USA

LPing is a proved utility to protocols but most prove to fail aligning LP and users. In DeFi, where compsability is our core strength, you can't both provide utility and participate in governance. Only idle players (and sometimes stakers) get to have a say. W T F 5/
