ICBA IMPACT 2025: David Eby's NDP has been shoving their CleanBC down the economy's throat, while at the same time, crying about Donald Trump's tariffs and the damage they could do to the B.C. economy. ICBA unleashed our economist experts to look at the numbers -- and it turns

CleanBC review shows the NDP is out of touch. Their plan would hurt B.C.’s economy far more than U.S. tariffs, and power demand equals six Site C dams. The NDP must stop misleading the public on EV targets and CleanBC. Their failed policies are shrinking B.C.’s economy.

Eby’s CleanBC is bleeding BC’s economy faster than Trump’s tariffs ever did. Industry estimates show economic losses ranging from $28 billion to over $100 billion. Meanwhile, B.C. sits on untapped potential—but Eby’s ideology is preventing growth. #bcpoli

CleanBC eggheads pushing natural gas out – even though gas is a key, affordable heating fuel for families, a competitive advantage for industry, & the backbone of LNG exports & 1000s of jobs. Affordable, reliable energy should be non-negotiable.

The ICBA has put numbers to what many British Columbians have been feeling. The NDP’s CleanBC plan isn’t just missing the mark — it’s doing real damage. Their own modelling shows it’ll cost our province over $100 billion in lost GDP. That’s two and a half times worse than the

George Heyman was the BC NDP Environment Minister who helped to bring in job-killing CleanBC policies and is the former head of the BCGEU – the very union he’s now being brought in to advise on and negotiate with. British Columbians are watching their cost of living explode,

On expensive, economy-eroding NDP plans like CleanBC, eco-activists and these biased reviewers forget a simple lesson: 👏 You can’t save the planet by bankrupting the people who live on it. 👏

John Rustad is committed to tearing up CleanBC - one of the strongest climate action plans in North America. John Rustad is a risk to anyone who cares and is working to fight climate change. Our future and my kids' future can't afford this risk. #bcpoli

Reminder before the CleanBC panel pats itself on the back this AM: the NDP government's own analysis shows CleanBC has been 2.5X worse for the BC economy than the worst-case Trump tariff scenario. https://t.co/i4emRljPSO @VaughnPalmer @RobShaw_BC @keithbaldrey #bcpoli

The BC carbon tax was changed from being revenue neutral (with offsetting income tax reductions) to being used to hire more government staff and fund CleanBC programs. Result: emissions are going up.
