I have a hard time believing that Alastor's problem with Lucifer is JUST an ego thing. He sneak disses Lucifer in his commercial 2 separate times in Ep 1 before he even meets the man. Not to mention his reaction to the banner welcoming Lucifer and the eye twitch when he sees him.
