See I'm kinda confused on the whole "Lucifer being the king" thing cause I think the implication is that recently he's been completely neglecting his WHOLE kingdom after Lilith left when usually he just neglected the sinners. It's kinda hard to tell if he ever was THE king.
remember when people were talking about lucifer needing to govern the goetia because of well the entire story going on in helluva like he doesnt know that they do arranged marriages why do we assume he doesnt know when theyve been doing it for longer than charlies been alive?

See how well that worked out lol Charlie's dream about redemption was directly inspired by how Lucifer used to dream and partly fueled by the admiration she had for her dad. Charlie is her father's daughter which is SO interesting since he was the more absent parent between them.
Perhaps Lilith didn't want Charlie to have the same idea or mindset, based on Lucifer's stories or dreams, and wanted Charlie to see reality or have his feet on the ground #LilithMorningstar #CharlieMorningstar #HazbinHotel

Trust me (Well that's ironic) I'm not a Vox apologist or one of those fans that baby him in regards to his relationship with Alastor. And I certainly don't think his actions towards Alastor after the rejection were justified either. It's been 70 years dude, move on.

People seem to be misinterpreting what I was saying. I don't feel bad for Vox. I don't think Alastor "rejected him too harshly". I was just pointing out the dynamic similarities and how Alastor could find himself on the other side of a dangerous obsession similar to Vox's.

I put "getting a taste of his own medicine" in quotes for a reason. I don't believe that Alastor is SOLELY at fault for his and Vox's falling out. There is definitely more to Alastor's side. I was just putting it in simpler terms of how it could be portrayed in the future.
No disrespect to OP, but I really hate the โgetting a taste of his own medicineโ line of thought thatโs going around because thereโs going to be a reason why he rejected Vox so harshly - but EVEN IF THERE WASNโT +

It definitely feels like there's something more going on than just "Alastor can't handle being around someone more powerful than him and Lucifer being at the hotel makes Charlie harder to manipulate" and I wonder if that'll be explored in S3

I have a hard time believing that Alastor's problem with Lucifer is JUST an ego thing. He sneak disses Lucifer in his commercial 2 separate times in Ep 1 before he even meets the man. Not to mention his reaction to the banner welcoming Lucifer and the eye twitch when he sees him.
