First visit to The Star #SE18 since Dirty Liquor pubco (thankfully) ceased to exist. Great to see garish ext paint job replaced and the interior still keeping to some sort of tradition. TT Boltmaker on draught and some good 80s tunes on also 👌🎶🍻🍻

Out midweek two days running 🙄. In all my years of drinking I've only visited the Halfway House in Childer Thornton once previously. A very comfortable pub with good beer. Yet another pub with Boltmaker, I'm currently drinking Weetwood Best Bitter. Both are excellent.

Grand 'craic' in t'pub t'nite, if not fully quorate. The Boltmaker was in fine fettle. Plenty of TDS & not a little Klimate alarmism on display, but mockery is always the antidote. "I know Global Warming's real because my heating oil bill is less than last year." How we howled.
