This is my #whyPTA - to speak up for every child, to advocate for equity in education. While here at #PTACON19 I'm thinking more about what I've done to that end, what we do as an organization and the meaningful work in front of us.
Today is #Juneteenth, which commemorates the end of slavery in our country. As we celebrate, we must look ahead & continue our march towards #equity & advocate for students who need the most, yet are getting the least.
