Creating a stable, consistent platform starts at the floor. Ankle mobility let's your knees move over your foot, hip stability helps to control the position of your knee.

Service is the only part of the game you have full control over. Having a routine you always follow before you serve can help build consistency. What is your pre-serve routine...?!

Internal rotation at the shoulder helps to reach a great position to volley from. If you canโ€™t get to that position, for whatever reason, it limits the setting options you can hit consistently. Hands up if youโ€™ve been that outside thatโ€™s forgotten the setters front court..??๐Ÿ™ˆ

Volleyball isn't about how high you can jump, it's about how high you can reach ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ– Subtly different things, important to understand for training!

The link between your shoulder & your torso is very strong! If you have poor mobility in either, the other has to do extra work to make up for it... ๐Ÿ™ˆ This is HUGELY important when thinking about overhead actions, BUT particularly important in disguising your reverse set... ๐Ÿ˜

Jumping on sand is completely different to jumping on-court. ๐Ÿ Sand moves... Changing the physiological requirements on the muscle and tendon during the jump ๐Ÿ’ช This is HUGE when thinking about training to jump on either surface!

Sometimes you need to cover ground quickly ๐Ÿš€ to save a ball, get into position or react to changes in gameplay. Sprint speed is governed by how fast you can apply high force โฑand which direction you apply it ๐Ÿ‘†๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿ‘ˆ๐Ÿ‘‡
