Welcomed my students to class each day at the door with this deck of cards. 180 days later I am putting them away for next year & plan to do the same. #VisibleRandomGroups #ThinkingClassroom @pgliljedahl

I've been fortunate to experience and facilitate visible random groups in my practicum placements so it was nice to dig into the research behind it all! I know it's a bit wordy but I think this infographic sums up why #visiblerandomgroups are awesome!

You can also use spreadsheets to easily generate #visiblerandomgroups which are great for #VNPS learning activities! Relative cell reference groups of 3 or 4 to a classlist column, and randomize the range! #iteachmath #thinkingclassroom
