So, not only did the @Microsoft Fall Creators Update, aka 1709, fail for me like it did for everyone else, it hosed my Office in the meantime. So thanks #Microsoft for so far costing me 3 hours to maybe get this fixed. At least I'm resourceful enough to do it myself. #updatefail
