Release the hounds!. Our biocontrol (insect attacking) nematodes hunt down and kill rootworm. Every rootworm they kill produces 20,000 more biocontrol nematodes that go hunt more rootworm! . Natures perfect weapon against trait resistance. More info at

@pete_90210 Not the silver bullet everyone hoped for. Published lab rootworm resistance in 2 generations. Need integrated management approach. Layer persistent biocontrol nematodes over traits for a truly trait independent mortality factor. See:

Walking my cornfield in disbelief of how bad my rootworm trait has failed and how many Beetles are flying around. I look up as I’m wading through water hemp. And think I’m in Albert Hitchcock’s The birds movie. I realize they’re not after me but the WCR beetles I’m stirring up.

"But wait, there's more!" We're applying these #EPNs (a.k.a. "biocontrol nematode" solutions) to Illinois #cornfields to assess their capacity to lessen #rootworm larval injury to corn roots. These EPNs are a #PersistentBiocontrol, treat once and they may work year-after-year. .

@pete_90210 Since you have rootworm trait failure on your farm and undoubtedly on your neighbors’ farm, perhaps you need to consider a more integrated approach. Consider the following webpage. 2000ac in NW Iowa in 2023 and 75,000 ac nationwide.
