A few of you guessed correctly: this is a dual patch 2.4GHZ directional antenna. Metageek Device Finder got discontinued in 2019 and was replaced by a triband antenna. It has 60 degrees horizontal beamwidth and 7 dBi gain. I also measured its VSWR with VNA.
RF quiz: Simple: what does this do? Very hard: which exact product is it? Hint: the company is American. This specific product is discontinued now. Those rectangle patches are 28mm by 30mm. I'll post the answer later tonight.

What happens if you forget to turn off Chanalyzer5 from @metageek / @Oscium on 2.4GHz? Well, after 1 hours and 20 minutes you end up with a picture similar to @Aaronia_AG. Pretty amazing to see what that little superhet USB SA can do with cool software.

I'm officially re-kicking off my #CWAP studying. I've been dragging a bit since a few weeks before #WLPC but it's time. Thanks to @MackenzieWiFi and @MistSystems I have a super easy PCAP lab (AP PCAP deep dive at WLPC). I'll also be using @metageek #Tonic for OTA captures.
