There's not much left of R K Penson's fittings at Mathry (1865-8). A work of solid geometrical Gothic. Its tower and spire were not completed. What original elements are left sit in stark isolation in a desolate space. The altar rails hint at what was lost. 1/4 #IronworkThursday
