These four are structurally built on the same divisions of the circle. Let creativity come to play with a touch of math and you have treats for both the eye and brain. #mathartsmonday #maydala #artplayingwithmath #mathplayingwithart

Not Quite Black and White. Numbers were used to make decisions on placement of both the horizontal and vertical lines. Circles are randomly placed. #MathArtsMonday

Been creating moire patterns, mostly build on standard patterns, But made this one, too, which isn't like any I've seen. Creates these wonderful #asymptote like images , then, also, concentric circles that get smaller but never merge. #limit Moires! #MathArtsMonday

#MathArtsMonday has been awhile for me. Happy that I have a work in progress. Not sure how it will end up, but very much enjoying the process.

These are playful pieces for this #MathArtsMonday . Love the colors and the touch of math in positioning the vertical lines with units of the Fibonacci sequence. I will never get tired of using a little math to divide the plane. <3

One of my favorite paintings! It qualifies for #MathArtsMonday and #21DaysInMyArtWorld The Fibonacci sequence was used to place the vertical lines to transition colors from left to right. Another love of this painting is the idea that the whole is greater than the parts.

Working on a new series revolving around anomalies. While it evolves I am going to be sharing older work. This particular piece is one of the earliest Venn Series and a personal favorite. #VennSeries #mathplayingwithart #artplayingwithmath #color #MathArtsMonday

#MathArtsMonday has two of my favorite numbers in these works. Small but powerful. I find joy in using numbers to divide the plane. #binarynumbers #mathplayingwithart #artplayingwithmath #color #artistsofinstagram #appliedmathematics #hiddennumbers #rightinfrontofyou
