@IceSolst I'm also not sure what the issue is with k8s. There, I'm 99% sure the problem is the training. If you read my book on k8s (and use the Linode implementation), it's actually ridiculously simple. I initially thought k8s was hard, but then I realized all the tutorials were just.

I've ditched all western cloud providers (AWS, Digital Ocean, Linode, etc) for Alibaba Cloud because 2 hours after creating an account, a rep called me to get my feedback, listened to what I said, and passed it to his manager. D.O. told me to go fuck myself when I had a problem.

Ohh so that's what a total data center outage over night looks like @linode. Not a fun way to start a Sunday. First time I've had *any* kind of outage in over 6 years. Likely not the last, so time to put back on my IT hat and build a way to mitigate against this kind of outage.

Neither if you are starting out or lack experience with the cloud. DigitalOcean, Linode and similar will run your application fine without denting your pockets. If you really need them then it depends on your own project requirements
