Another spectacular day for Friday mailboat'n! The Olympic Mountains Steller nap time, the Henry Island with a load of tanker trucks and a boat limit of lingcod. Our local lingcod season opened yesterday, and one of my island residents kicked lingcod booty today.

What a spectacular day for mailboat'n. With another shrimp opener underway, there was a lot of marine traffic. Little fish, but I'm not sure what species. Then three boats not shrimping; the McClure Bay, Teal and some lingcod fisherman.
