Hyperthreading allows single physical processor to act like two separate processors. It's done by duplicating some parts of the physical core while reusing others. Eg: The registers and program counter are separate for each logical core while the ALU and caches are same.

The i5-9600K came out in 2018 - 6 years ago No hyperthreading, two less cores. It's literally less powerful than the CPU in the base PS5 let alone the Pro No wonder your performance is all over the place. You're severely bottlenecking that poor 4070
