By 2030, the #GreatGreenWall — an African-led initiative to re-green the Sahel & Horn of #Africa — aims to restore 100 million hectares of land! 🌳. One of the UNVs supporting the project is Ahmede, who works with @UNCCD 🇳🇪 to raise funds, restore land, and support livelihoods.

Niger🇳🇪, Thailand🇹🇭, North Macedonia🇲🇰. These are just a few of the countries where UN Volunteers take action for climate change🌍. For example in Niger, UNV Ahmede trains gardeners for the #GreatGreenWall initiative.
