gopls is next level

This is pretty cool: modernize your Go codebase! If you have gopls installed, you can run: modernize -fix -test ./... I also recommend running your favorite formatter after (e.g. gofumpt, goimports) to make sure the imports are in the order you like :)

"23% wasted" new sneaky feature on gopls?

Is it just my nvim setup or is gopls now proving codelens details about struct field alignment by default??? A few keystrokes and this is automatically fixed. Can make a huge difference if you deal with lots of data. 😍

I wrote a little script using fzf and Go modernize to quickly fix issues in my code base. Editors using Gopls can fix these, but only one at a time. I wanted a way to find a file and fix everything in one go. Also, I like the idea of extracting some of these functionalities

anyone know how to get the signature popup on golang structs in neovim? Using lsp_signature.nvim + nvim-cmp + gopls pic 1 is what i'm talking about but in rust code, pic 2 is go code where I'd like this to happen but it isn't

GoHas anyone using #golang with vscode and WSL run into this issue? Whatever environment the gopls task is running in doesn't have the GO111Module set to On and it's driving me insane! lol

I was like, why do Agents don't use native tools to edit files in certain languages, and it looks like @AmpCode has some secret sauce that does it? I've observed that it uses gopls for example for a Go refactoring task.
