New from the #DasGuptaLab @NDscience with the @SzostakLab @UChiChemistry! We solved an important problem in the origin of life by showing that prebiotic chemical conditions activate RNA and drive both enzyme-free and ribozyme-catalyzed RNA assembly in the same environment.

It’s award season for the #DasGuptaLab. Undergrads-Matt, Jackson, and Casey won Summer Fellowships (SURF). Matt won the Baten Family Research Support Award. Postdoc Annyesha won the BELS Professional Development Award and an #RNASociety Fellowship to present at #RNA2025. Onward!
