Woo! Thank you all for responding!! . Question: What if I open this up to any organization who uses WSUS (whether #ConfigMngr, #WSUSStandalone or 3rd party) BUT you need to be willing to have some devices testing this on #Windows11?.

@ip1 Yes, though not natively in Co-Management yet it will work already with ConfigMngr. Which version(s) are you curious about? This is currently available for Win 10, 2004+.

@IoanPopovici @KennyBuntinx @dzejzipl To be clear - I am just going based off of the data. I would agree with you that every IT Admin I work with (especially at larger orgs) is using ConfigMngr.

@KennyBuntinx @dzejzipl This does add another interesting callout though that you'd need #WUfB to support something similar to Maintenance windows in order to move your servers to using Intune / WUfB rather than ConfigMngr.

@PaulEAndrews @bdam555 @JordanTheITguy I believe that depends what version of ConfigMngr you are running. ConfigMr sets the regkeys with WMI not via policy and therefore UseUpdateClassPolicySource key also needs to be set. I believe on latest version this happens automatically. @UpdatedavidM?.

@TheRealOddLotts @PatchMyPC Hi Nicholas, . It really depends on which version of ConfigMngr you're using. Certain versions will set dual scan and others will do scan source. Worse, today CM doesn't support you setting scan source. *Note- yes, our docs are out of date and I need to update them.

@BruceSaaaa @modaly_it @bdam555 @ProgrammerTexan @SCCM_Avenger Note I believe ConfigMngr should be removing the policies that block scans against the windows update endpoint, but I think the WSUS endpoint config should stay for 3rd party and other update types.
