#3DPrinted the rocket model for the #ChristmasPrintDrive but noticed a slight layer shift early on in the print & the exterior walls of one fin was stringing out at the curve. As is, it was hard to assemble. So I am going to try some modifiers to see if I can get better results.

I finally got around to printing my 1st print for the #ChristmasPrintDrive hosted by @loyalmoses. I printed it in @Polymaker_3D PolyTerra Sakura Pink. I hope the joints on the chest piece will separate from the card easy for the kids.🤞They look pretty close.

Hey, it worked! The first of many toys-to-come in the @loyalmoses #ChristmasPrintDrive is finished, and my @Prusa3D #XL5T did a great job! Here’s hoping the trend continues from now on considering how much trouble I’ve had to this point. Printed in @QIDI_3dprinter Purple PLA.

And then there were three. Another successful print on the @Prusa3D #XL5T for the @loyalmoses #ChristmasPrintDrive with the @QIDI_3dprinter Purple #PLA. Testing all the models for single-nozzle print before I go to multi-tool. Airplane is queued up as I type this.😊

My @Prusa3D #XL5T has been doing a great job printing for the @loyalmoses #ChristmasPrintDrive so far. Still haven’t done any multi-color painted versions yet; part of me is reluctant to dedicate the extra time to tool switching. I’d rather print more toys so more kids get one.😊

@loyalmoses @ZombieHedgehog_ Here are the first multi-color, multi-tool prints taller than 1mm to come off the @Prusa3D #XL5T. These toys for the #ChristmasPrintDrive used tools 2, 3, and 4, and took over 10 hours each to print. What do you think? Are the color choices okay?

@reprinted3D I have a build plate just like that for my P1S. I actually used it for some of the #ChristmasPrintDrive prints last year. I 💙 these build plates. I do wonder how long the holograms will last on the prints. Especially after kids have played with them for a long time.🤔
