Dr. Clarence B. Jones wrote Martin Luther King's I Have a Dream speech. He'll be 92 in a couple of months. But today he's here at #ComNet22

There's a lot of talk from YouTubers that SEO doesn't matter anymore, and I agree with some of their points; however, if you type "Seattle" into YouTube right now, @invisiblepeople's video we posted this morning ranks 1st or 2nd. For advocacy and education, SEO matters #COMNET22

I’m just going to put this out there in the universe: This is what it looks like for lactating #moms on a work trip. It’s an exhausting work of love. We might be late to a session or skip happy hr for a reason. Amazing that #ComNet22 created a nursing room. We need more of this!

This! Her! Thank you @stepville for an honest talk on the realities far too many people face in the US and globally: home and food insecurity. This should not be something any person or family ever has to endure. #poverty #COMNET22

“As humans we are all part of a bigger story but we have to see each other ... The only way to see change is to listen to people who have experience in systemic violence, racism, and poverty … Our dignity is being alive.” —@stepville #comnet22

I have 12 pairs of @hanes socks left. I always try to give two pairs to each homeless person, but at times, like now, there are so many people I have to cut down to one pair each. There may be more than 24 people here, so I hate this dilemma. GAH! #comnet22

Something we don’t talk enough about when it comes to #CrisisCommunications: The focus on the impact on your internal team. Will you have a team at the end of the day? Will your colleagues be your ally or your opposition? #ComNet22 @TheComNetwork
