@AutumnTweets These are the four that were stationed in the Middle East and they were deactivated several months ago. There are no Avenger-class in the Middle East. There are 2 or 3 Independence-class LCS that sort of have mine clearing capabilities currently in the Middle East.

You don't know much about mines @mercoglianos Those Avenger-class minesweepers being cited are mostly being retired. Modern mine clearing relies far more on helicopters, unmanned vehicles, and modular systems deployed from other ships. Thatโs the good news. The bad news:
