2016年HOU No.1ProspectであるFrancis Martes(HOU)が運動能力向上薬物に陽性反応を示したため今季80試合の試合出場停止が決定。(もともと昨年TJにより今季全休) Martesは2017年、おもに中継ぎとして32登板し、ERA5.80を記録していた。詳細は不明だが恐らく筋肉増強系の薬物とみられる。
