Rarely you hear a political leader take a firm stand and shows mirror to some of the highest constitutional offices in the country. We need more leaders like him which will create public awareness and expose the duplicity of some of those sitting in ivory towers.
*Threatening Judiciary in the name of Pseudo Secularism* When a constitutional bench of the Supreme Court delivered the Sabarimala judgment overturning a centuries-old, deeply cherished custom regarding entry into one of the most sacred Hindu sites and triggering massive social

This is how you will go down in history, to be remembered as supporter of that side which is greedy, corrupt and wants nothing but concrete jungle instead of the actual existing forest!

Even god might not know how we function as a nation, one of the first thing in such a tragedy would be FIR and issuing a Lookout circular, maybe someone in the system is complicit and made them aware of next possible steps so they could just evade the system.

We in India work differently, we allow illegal construction and allied things to happen, then some tragic incident happens which awakens the "system" from deep slumber. Suddenly fire dept wakes up. We don't prioritise life earlier. #goafireaccident

India needs it's own Lee Kuan Yew, we had Sardar Patel, but for a brief period. Instead of taking punitive and disciplinary action against the airlines, the govt chose to bend down and give a walkover to #Indigo. If India has to become a first world country, we need discipline
How Lee Kuan Yew handled a disruption in Singapore International Airlines. Worth a watch. Govts and Countries cannot be held hostage by corporate monopolies unwilling or unable to do what is expected of them. Period. #IndigoAirlines

Filtering through the noise, it is increasingly getting clear that the #Indigo crisis seems to be a planned one and not something which came out of the blue. It was an attempt to force the govt to roll back the FDTL norms and Indigo get's their way. Accountability must be fixed

It feels sad when bright minds leave, but they are left with no choice at times. The decision is difficult but necessary at times. Hope someone at the top is listening and there is some initiative to retain talent in India.
Worth reading. Very sensible advice. All easy to fix. Losing such researchers is a great loss for India.

Honestly what is new? Suicide cover ups, assaulting students, misogyny, sexism, racism against all is well known. In any civilised country the Vishwanathan family would’ve been in prison but then when were we a serious nation? The “progressive TN” based press also looks away.
Probe panel finds that VIT Bhopal tried to conceal a jaundice outbreak that affected dozens of students, even as campus conditions deteriorated. The report flags unsafe water, poor food quality, fear-based discipline, harassment of students who complained. Violence erupted on

A good read to start the day, quoting from the article. "There is something incredibly calm about a quiet room - it gives me the space to hear myself think. Silence doesn't feel empty. It feels like peace quietly wrapping itself around me"

I think more than the communication, it’s awareness which keeps any relationship strong. Being aware of the other person’s story, their insecurities and triggers. And not just romantic relationships, this goes for any meaningful connection.

Lord Wellesley once said the Company needed “palaces to awe the natives into submission.” The British left, but too many Indian elites inherited the script, choosing pomp over public duty while claiming to speak for the aam aadmi.

When you can’t find the strength to stay for yourself; Stay for that sunset, Stay for the kindness of that stranger, Stay for the comfort of a chocolate milkshake, Stay for that song, You may not always recognize the light you bring to the world, but people do!
