“For you” is not not “for me” - I am willing to pay an extra dollar to not see irrelevant things cluttering up the X feed. I just want to see amateur radio, tech, space stuff. 😒

IC-7300 MK2 power button LED is Blue whereas I recall the MK1 was green! that’s one difference! Also, if I recall well, the power button LED used to turn RED on transmit on the old version….

found out why my IC-705 was not getting charged! I don’t have replacement fuses…have to order ‘em. For now, I will use the microUSB charging! (USB-C replacement board was ordered anyear ago and I can’t even locate where it is among pile of wanted and unwanted stuff)

Received my new IC-7300 MK2 two days ago. Advantage of U.K model is that it comes with this filter and also 70 MHz support.

4 months ago - this is what I said - but I still went ahead!
My take on Ic-7300 MK2. for my use case - I don’t find the additional feature sets worth upgrading my 7300 (primarily used for portable operations or at times as a secondary radio in the shack) 1) HDMI out - I have no reason to blow the radio display on to a larger screen.

I was minding my own business and this gentleman @RFconsultantUK pushed me and then my credit card fell on the keyboard and accidentally placed an order for 7300MK2. I had no plans to buy - but it happened.
