Here are Real use cases Bitcoin: Digital currency and settlement layer. Ethereum: Smart contracts & NFTs. Solana: Fast dApps / DeFi projects. Hyperledger Fabric: Private enterprise solutions. NFTs: CryptoKitties, BAYC, NBA Top Shot. Tokens: USDT, USDC, UNI, BNB, MATIC.

Tokens vs NFTs Fungible tokens (ERC-20): interchangeable units (like USDT, MATIC, UNI). NFTs (ERC-721): unique digital assets with individual IDs (like BAYC, CryptoPunks, or NBA Top Shot). Fungible = same value units Non-fungible = unique ownership

Distributed Ledger vs Blockchain Distributed Ledger (DLT) is a shared data base that synchronizes across multiple computers (nodes). No single authority owns it. Blockchain is a type of distributed ledger, but not all distributed ledgers are blockchains.

Nodes & Consensus Node: Computer that validates and shares data Client: Software that runs on the node (e.g. Geth, Bitcoin Core) Consensus: The process nodes use to agree on valid data.

Different blockchains use different consensus mechanisms like: Bitcoin → Proof of Work Ethereum → Proof of Stake Hyperledger → Raft/PBFT (private networks)

Blockchain Basics A blockchain is a digital record system made of blocks linked together. Each block holds transactions, verified by computers called ‘nodes’ running special software known as clients.Together, they keep the system secure and transparent.
