As the year wraps up, it's very easy to look back and fall into the trap of regrets, making you forget everything you created while fixating on what you didn't. This Monday, inventory your wins, choose to start your week with gratitude. Then use them as fuel for 2026. What

Community leads play a notable role in onboarding users to a product. In an increasingly digital world, itβs easy to overlook the importance of human relatability, yet that human connection is the very reason we build in the first place. Bullish on people people
people who drastically underestimated the importance of community leads will soon understand that one of the few remaining moats in an easily replicable world of software, is the ability to make users feel like they are a part of something bigger. bullish on people people.

The new year is finally here and there's so much energy. Everyone wants to do so much better than they did last year which is a good way to start the year. But don't let the fire die, don't let the desire to do different this new year fade away. Happy new year people π₯

2025 stretched me in ways I didnβt expect, but it also showed me whatβs possible when you build with purpose. Iβve been sitting with a lot of emotions, (gratitude, laughter, tiredness, pride) and hunger for whatβs next.

As we step into the next phase, Iβm filled with excitement and hunger, to do even more meaningful work, build deeper collaborations, and create greater impact. This is only the beginning. Onward and upward.

Along the way, Iβve been privileged to speak, host, and organize across the ecosystem both in Nigeria and countries outside Nigeria Learning patience, people management, scaling, and knowing when to do my best and let the rest play out.

My personal journey has been a rollercoaster, wins and losses, good days and bad days There were moments when the weight of it all made me quietly reconsider everything Still, even in those moments, the vision refused to let go Remember: Success isnβt a sprint. Itβs a marathon

My team has been a key pillar to every win we've had over the years and I'm truly grateful for them The journey as a builder has made me realise that real change starts with showing up, even when the path isnβt clear, the answers arenβt complete, and the results arenβt immediate

@LagosDevcon meetup 2025 proved itβs no longer βjust a small meetup.β Iβm deeply grateful to everyone who partnered with and supported us in one way or another: @Stellar_WA, @BasedWestAfrica, @LiskAfrica, @StarknetAfrica, @PolkadotAfrica, @EFetheverywhere and others.

β’ Open-source contribution β’ The belief that anyone can build, and that β’ Anyone can be recognized if theyβre solving real problems Itβs proof that big things can start from small beginnings The growth has been unreal: 300 registrations last year. 633 registrations this year

Through this, newbies get direct access to top builders, real stories, and real projects, helping them get up to speed on what they should be building with whatβs happening globally. @LagosDevcon Meetup reflects what Ethereum and Web3 truly stand for:

@LagosDevcon meetup holds a special place in my heart because it represents the power of organic movement. Seeing Africans in the @ethereum ecosystem come back home to pour into those who couldnβt attend global events was truly beautiful.

@EFDevcon Argentina was impactful and being there gave me fresh perspective. The conversations and connections reinforced the importance of community. Came back to Nigeria and organised a spin off devcon event: @LagosDevcon 2025

Being a founder is one thing people really underestimate. The pressure, the decisions, the quiet sacrifices, itβs a lot, but when you see life's changed it all becomes worth it.

Leading this community has taught me something powerful: anyone can do anything if they put their heart into it. I experienced an "aha momentβ when I saw both big and small ecosystem players begin to intentionally plug into the non-developer ecosystem.
