For comparison, in traditional consensus, you need static membership (closed, permissioned). Even scaling out to 10 nodes is a nightmare (e.g. etcd). Avalanche is one of the few networks that can scale with >1K validators, all participating in consensus. Once confirmed, no re-org.

Only possible in Avalanche.- Spin up >>100 testnet nodes under 20-min.- Load/failure injection testing with millions of transactions.- Shut it down. Avalanche node + consensus is so cheap to run; the size of the DEVNET is capped by the infra capacity, not by the protocol.
Playing around with Subnets just got easier!. Spin up a net with the params you want, smoke test it until satisfied. - load testing of avalanchego / custom VM w/out public testnet .- load generator for evm performance testing .- Multiregion deploy to simulate network topology.
