the C53 being articulated doesn’t even make sense anyways i’ve never seen it full yet and i’d rather see more frequency than bigger buses regardless.
ICYMI, today WMATA closed the C53 bus stop at 8th & D SE (Eastern Market) because when they switched route to longer buses it no longer fit & forced pedestrians into traffic. Return to standard bus is best option; not close a stop & force people to walk several blocks to another.
