On Wed we visited @bowprimary and @KilmacolmPS with the brilliant @abielphinstone who spoke about her new Ember Spark book series. Copies of all the authors books we've visited schools with or had events with are available at the official festival bookshop @GingerCatBkshop 📚🤩

We then visited @HoustonPrimary and St Columba's Junior School with the fantastic Bridget Vanderpuff author Martin Stewart. If you like Roald Dahl you're going to love Bridget Vanderpuff🤩

Our schools programme kicked off on Monday with a visit to @GryffeHighSch with author of Glasgow Boys Margaret McDonald. If you haven't read Glasgow Boys it is a phenomenal read 📚Huge thanks to Margaret and Gryffe High😊

Poet and author Amy Moreno ran a poetry workshop with Renfrewshire Women's Aid support group on Monday and we have had such amazing feedback, thanks so much to Amy and to Alliance Ambulance for sponsoring this event ❤️

During our mini fest on Sunday we had some fantastic workshops with Think Science, poetry and art with @JulieAnnaPoetry, an introduction to creative writing with @ljlittleson and festival Book Bugs with the @scottishbktrust🤩

We were over the moon with how many came to our charity mini fest for Project Go on Sunday. We had some amazing crafters, a raffle, a tractor, an ambulance and @Bmoresketchy spraypainting. We had some lovely book donations from publishers which created a lucky 'book' dip❤️

Our final author event on Saturday saw Andy the Highlander in conversation with @SeanBattyTV about Andy's book Lochs and Legends. What a treat to hear about Andy's adventures from acting on Outlander to travelling around Scotland as a tour guide with @highlandertour

We had such a fantastic Afternoon of Crime on Saturday which saw authors @Lin_Anderson and @CraigRobertson_ in conversation with @Alexincrimeland about all things crime. Don't forget @BloodyScotland starts today!!🎉

Barbara Henderson @scattyscribbler was just amazing on Saturday during her Rivet Boy event which was followed by a bridge building workshop with the Institution of Civil Engineers. The children made the most amazing bridges!!
