Thx for the conversation, @Wired. Should clarify, don’t think we are in a bubble. This is about staying adaptable as the technology and providers rapidly evolve. Customers need choice from bottom to top of the AI stack—including all the foundation models AWS is providing through
Adam Selipsky, CEO of Amazon’s dominant cloud platform AWS, says generative AI is valuable but that the excitement around some AI companies is similar to when dotcom darlings were "dramatically overhyped."

.@ChoiceHotels has completed migrating its entire infrastructure to @awscloud. This involved decommissioning more than 3,729 servers, retiring over 300 applications, and migrating 250 applications. Being fully in the cloud will help Choice quickly deliver innovative services
