IMO It’s time for CAF Reserves to be given real world taskings. Equip and train Army Reserves to respond to emergencies such as this. Equip and train RCAF reserves with Water Bombers that can deployed across the country. @JustinTrudeau @BillBlair @DLeBlancNB @PierrePoilievre

Here's just one example of the Conservatives asking about plans from the Liberal government to prevent a devastating forest fire in Jasper. The government knew about stands of dead trees killed by the Pine Beetle and didn't act. This is from 2017. #jasper

I have said this before and perhaps this may trigger some action. Give the CAF Reserves real world tasking and equip to combat these events. RCAF water bombers for national use. Pass legislation that reservists called out for these events keep their jobs.

They were very fortunate this time. Question - with all the EV Fires and the difficulty putting them out. Why are we allowing them on subways, streetcars? What about ferries? It is only a matter of time!!!!
Everybody “get out, get out” was call by @TTC staffers. They deserve a major pat on back. Excellent response. @ChiefPeggTFS and his @Torontofire1 team as well. It was not an easy fire to put out as e-bike battery blazes usually are. One man was injured.

This is what happens when you have weak leadership. Politicians are mostly ignoring this & being cowards. Police are sitting back letting it happen. Canadians need to wake up & the silent majority need to start speaking up & demanding more from police & parliament.
