The Philosophical Underpinnings of Truth Decay - I've read Rand's book-length white paper on "Truth Decay" and @max_fisher's "The Chaos Machine." Both are excellent but neither discuss the broader philosophic milieu of irrationalism that may be a factor.

Just had a lively conversation about the core thesis of John Rawls' "A Theory of Justice" with the ladies (they are all ladies) at my local hair salon. I think it says something for the strength of Rawls idea that it is so broadly applicable and so universally accessible.

"Each member of society is thought to have an inviolability founded on justice or, as some say, on natural right, which even the welfare if every one else cannot override. Justice denies that the loss of freedom for some is made right by a greater good shared by others.".

The Weekend Test. "What the smartest people do on the weekend is is what everyone else will do during the week in ten years." - @cdixon. Observe the weekend projects of the smartest people in your circles. Odds are those will become a key part of our future. Invest accordingly.

An idea started to form…I thought, “I wonder what it would be like to emcee a TedX show?” I threw it out to the organizers, who heartily agreed to the idea. Read more 👉 #welcometomyTEDtalk #communication #publicspeaking #TedxEmcee
