JHS (Eur) 49(2)275-277. Congenital brachial artery occlusion. I hope this helps surgeons faced with this to be able to act early - with immediate fasciotomy to the affected limb

I suspect that the US system is more high pressured - but when you read the article you see overlap with our professional culture - I’m not sure what the message is - ask for help if you feel stretched ? Be aware of your own triggers ?

Bonkers stuff - it’s stressful enough to be an FY1 after five years - good luck shortening it to four - why not read the room - retain existing staff - make FY1/2 more fulfilling and reduce the loss after FY years by avoiding the need to move regions -

I wore a white coat for half of my 31 yrs as a clinician : this suggests that the white coat might have served a purpose. I never quite understood why they were removed in the UK.
