Heartbreaking to see @PBS_North end Almanac North. It gave our region civic engagement, Capitol updates, and community voices we can’t afford to lose. While the Twin Cities keep Almanac, rural Minnesota loses out again because of federal decisions.

Minnesota added nearly 6,000 jobs in August while national growth was flat. Our unemployment is lower and more people are working here than across the country. Proof again that Minnesotans are some of the hardest working people anywhere. 💪 #MNproud

I joined @IBT_320 on the picket line today at UMD. These workers are the backbone of the campus, from food service to custodians to boiler engineers and more, they keep everything running. I’m proud to stand with them & support their fight for fair treatment and respect on job

Shocked and saddened to learn about the assassination of Charlie Kirk. My thoughts are with his family during this heartbreaking time. Regardless of politics, violence has no place in our democracy. We must all stand together in condemning these acts.

Spent Labor Day with workers from across northern Minnesota. First on the Range, then at the Duluth Central Labor Body picnic. From the mines and construction to our schools and hospitals, labor built this region and keeps it strong today. Proud to stand with them.
