10/ With that said, if you're in the space doing something cool and looking to build out your BD team. I'm all ears.

9/ Anyway, for the near future, I plan to rest, reflect, read and write. I'll also be traveling a bit, spending time with loved ones, reconnecting with mentors and determining my next move. I'm already excited for some of the opportunities that have come my way.

8/ The best BDs are also the best recruiters. Among the highlights of my time at Omni was finding @0xMatt1 on X, hiring him as an intern and eventually bringing him on in a full time capacity. Follow him if you haven't already. He is doing big things.

7/ The best BDs DEEPLY understand the product. I know we like to joke about his but it is true. The best BDs can talk to devs and establish trust. Always read the docs. Especially your own. It is ALWAYS worth it.

6/ The best BDs build their own brand. I have loved building the PoBD community and working across the industry to facilitate introductions. So many of you did this for me early on, the least I can do is pay it forward. (You can still DM me to join the TG group. ).

5/ As I’ve learned in early stage roles (prev at @SeiNetwork and now at @OmniFDN), it is imperative that a BD wears many hats, embraces uncertainty and is willing to take on new challenges on a daily basis. A few things I’ve taken away from my time at Omni:.

4/ In early 2024, after being introduced to @OmniFDN by @Mirza, I joined the team to run BD. I’d like to give a big thank you to @OnchainAustin & @ttarsi_ for bringing me on board over a year and a half ago and giving me another great opportunity to go 0-1.

3/ Late in 2023 one of my best friends tragically passed away at the age of 26. He and I used to run together frequently in NY and started a run club in the city that' now has several hundred members. After his passing, I took some much needed time away from work to recover.

2/ For those who may not know me, my first full time job in crypto was with @SeiNetwork as the team's first BD hire back in early 2022. The experience of building a company and learning an industry at the same time is the most rewarding thing (professionally) I have ever done.
