About to agitate to have my street closed to vehicular traffic. #InnerCityLiving

I don't often defend road projects but C'mon, Noel. By your logic no road should ever have an interesting view. Anyway, people in taxis and the shuttle can enjoy the view safely while the driver, who sees the artwork every day, pays attention to the road.

I looked around for mitigating factors like maybe the car in the lane was parked or something but no, just irredeemably bad driving in an active school zone.

Can't believe I saw this with my own two eyes, some d*ckhead overtaking on the wrong side of the road at a children xing with a lollipop lady holding the stop sign. He pushed his way thru but I would have enforced the queue and let the person in the lane pass first.

It has never made sense to build housing around driving a personal vehicle.
A giant disconnect I see in society right now is the fact that self driving will absolutely take over, AI will absolutely enable 1:1 tutoring for every child, and the past benefits of βgood school districtsβ and housing built around driving personal vehicles will make less sense.

If I wanted a sunny backyard I would simply not live in Marrickville. #abc730

Very funny that they won't drive to Traralgon because there's no parking. Get the bus.

Insane we don't have reliable public transport and bike lanes so people can get around without drug driving.

Why not target reckless drivers, their crashes are also spiking.

That's fine in Denver, bUt mY CiTy CoULd NeVeR
The Denver City Council voted 9-3 to eliminate citywide minimum parking requirements, creating more space for homes, small businesses, and people. A major step towards creating a more affordable, sustainable, and people-focused city. πDenver, CO

The human body gets frail with age. Boomers desperately need mobility options, even if they don't yet realize it.

Before cars, everyone wanted to be the next major city. After cars, everyone wants to be a rural backwater with no cars. Maybe cars are the problem?

I've lived here for nearly five years, and I've never used the Tiger bus. Metro should replace the routes with proper scheduled, permanent frequent lines to serve locals, not just tourists.
