Good development from last few days on the finance tracker project I've been working on, got the heck of using redux on a large scale project for the first time..more detailed status updates on the weekend (hopefully I'll be able to deploy the v1).

@dhruv_rathee @aifiesta Not sure how much you understand the tech behind this. If your developers have already written scalable, modular code: - Adding one more model is literally a one-line config change - Exposing the API is another one-line route addition That’s it. Acouple of lines and the new

How to grow as a dev even with a 10–7 → note your daily struggles : learn them after work. → study system design, it changes your mindset. → keep your GitHub alive : dont stop building projects. → build small, useful projects & ship them. → try new stacks, stay curious. →

Also got back to problem-solving and DSA this weekend, solved a few LeetCode problems and planning to start OPAD to improve my problem-solving skills. I’ve been a bit off in timed assessments lately.

Guess that’s what happens when you start working deeply in a stack, from handling entity-to-DTO conversions to implementing global exceptions, I’ve been learning a lot. Will share more updates soon!

Current status: Over 50% of the database design and controller/service layer is done, most CRUD operations are complete. Initially, managing a Java backend felt tougher than Node.js, but I’ve grown genuine interest in it over time.

Locked in and had a good focused day of work, don't think I've dedicated an entire day(almost) to doing java backend stuff (leaving office work aside).

Few takeaways: -> field injection contradicts the basics of java, private fields can't be accessed from out but with @autowired we can. -> For single constr, no need to have @autowired bcz spring is smart enough to recog that. -> Add lombok on top, and we don't even need constr
