One of the highlights of my summer is managing an annual program where young people create a large-scale mural. They are working very hard out there + the results are incredible. I’m proud to live and work in a city where art blooms around every corner!
11 years ago, we launched a youth initiative as part of Jersey City’s Public Arts Program. Today I met the high school students wrapping up their summer project on Newark Ave. From NJ’s first Arts Trust Fund to our mural program, the Loew’s Theater, the Pompidou, NJ Symphony
