my reading/learning process:. 1/ make coffee.2/ read while taking notes, making highlighting and summarizing every chapters + what I learned.3/ use @readwise to transfer notes (i like paper, sue me).4/ use Claude to turn notes into flash cards.5/ drop them into Mochi.
It's shocking how effective spaced repetition is. You put 10% more effort into reading, and get 100-1,000x more retention. I honestly retain close to nothing after one reading, and I'm surprised how often I truly "grok" something only after 10-20 spaced exposures.
