I think you guys are just depressed but instead project that onto persistent but ultimately minor issues that could theoretically be solved by public policy and so ascribe your dissatisfaction with life to perceived policy failures

Nah the show is a trash tv adaptation of a trash romance novel
Jacob Tierney needs to teach a masterclass on how you adapt corny ass trashy glorified fanfiction and make it something worthwhile cause he’s the first in recent memory to pull it off. I think the key is that he took it seriously and treated with so much genuine care and love.
