The Canadian Government is asking the Canada Energy Regulator to model 1.5 °C aligned oil and gas production numbers behind closed doors. They want increased production, not climate science aligned phase downs. Why we need an Independant Public Inquiry:.
We asked Minister Wilkinson some pretty detailed questions about how Canada's oil production doesn't align with our climate commitments. We need to understand how his answers don't align either.
