At three companies in which I audited/consulted at, the CEO and hiring team let go of their outsourced engineering team because they were VERY pushy on getting more internal engineers hired. In many cases, what was delivered was a big waste of money and a lot of overpricing and.
I work in a large and known American corp. ratio of Indians from manager to director is insane. All mine are Indian. If you are in the arena and have eyes, you know this is happening. It’s even been confirmed to me by a previous manager (Indian), that’s how he got his job.

Only if they are truly doing things like back in 2022. If they adopt AI into their workflows, then they will absolutely demolish any new grad. Thankfully, there are a lot of engineers refusing to adopt AI. so new grads can slide in and take over 🙂.
“A fresh college grad on top of AI can outperform a full-stack engineer with 10 yrs of experience that is still doing things as they were back in 2022.”. @AndrewYNg explains perfectly why we need more programmers, not less.

Man down. The dev who deleted the repos was let go once CEO and management heard what happened. No severance. Rest of the devs passed the reviews and are promised 3 months severance minimum in their contracts. Morale is above average, but my job from here is to define their.
- management got mad that I said we need better communication from engineers to CEO via tangible metrics not just "they're a bit behind, almost!". - engineers are happy that they finally get support, but are mad that they got scoped down to three projects. - within the last 16.

Update:. - CEO does not have time to micromanage Engineering team. Highly prefers in person people. - in office managers were supposed to recruit in person people but wanted to save money and outsourced. From the resumes available, lack of talent was NOT a fair excuse. - in.

After consulting a few law firms and two doctor offices. Yeah I agree completely. Standardizing and optimizing their process leads to systems running the org. Oddly enough, it led to some cases of more intake and more money with low layoffs. but still, the scale tips towards.
at the end of the day it was always the doctors and lawyers that were going to get cooked by AI, not the engineers. engineers solve problems. you can give engineers better tools and they will just solve problems better. but doctors and lawyers are memory banks. they run.

Another day another team being audited for my bossmans friend. Construction/renovation company. Symptoms:. - team of 16 devs, very diverse backgrounds. 12 are "AI Engineers". -7 months with 6 projects assigned. - MVPs built and still stuck on subdomain URLs. - data seems.

This is the type of person I would hire btw.
I HATE doing meaningless projects, so I built a remote controlled lazy susan to fix a problem for my mom. For context, she is physically unable to get out of bed, but she is also particular of the positioning of this one fan in her room. This means she feels bad calling for help
