Seems often that AI is ‘happening’ to us. A timely reminder by @vilasdhar that we have agency to shape our AI future. Echoes the #GlobalDigitalCompact call for more participatory multilateral structures for sharing best practices and scientific knowledge on AI.
There still is time to regulate AI much more thoughtfully and democratically, writes @vilasdhar in #GlobeIdeas. And doing so would not mean slowing innovation.
