think i just received the worst rejection ever on a full manuscript 😁 it was incredibly personal and they weren't unkind at all but it genuinely was such a misinterpretation of my story. and i know it'd be inappropriate to respond but literally like a gut punch this morning lol

sometimes when i receive a query rejection that says "you deserve to have someone truly passionate about your book and so i'm stepping aside" i want to be like no actually i just want to be published so readers can fall in love with my book the same way i did 🫠

just in the spirit of transparency, i sent out an email this morning officially dissolving my contract with Gold Dust Literary. i don't think this will affect me negatively as i plan on staying with my agent (who's amazing, by the way), just want to keep everyone updated.
